Price/Payment:
I charge $100 per month for weekly 30 minute guitar lessons whether there are 4 or 5 Mondays in the month. If there are any weeks that I am unable to teach, I will credit $25 to the following month. I will give students an invoice on the first lesson of each month, and I ask that I am paid sometime in the first half of the month. I accept cash, check, Venmo and Apple Pay.
Attendance:
If students are unable to attend lessons or are sick, I cannot offer make up lessons. We will skip lessons that week and meet the following Monday. Students are still charged for lessons they are not able to attend similar to other extracurricular activities like sports where students are charged whether or not they miss practices or games. I am still charged rent for the lesson room whether my students are there or not. If students miss 4 consecutive lessons or have less than 50% attendance in a 2 month span, students will lose that time slot for lessons. I try to be flexible and understanding of extenuating circumstances so please reach out me with questions.

Hello! I’m a seasoned teacher with over 25 yrs. of teaching experience, and I love to pass on the gift of making music! My Mother got me my first music student when I was around 14, and after years of teaching, I’ve learned that every student is different and therefore needs to be taught, at least slightly, if not almost entirely, differently from my other students.
I mix traditional and modern approaches and can teach note reading and theory, as well as playing by ear, how to use chords and charts, singing techniques, and how to foster and expand your own creativity.

Welcome! My name is Bryan Henry. My experience in Music Instruction dates back to February of 2002 where I began teaching Guitar at a small business in Wheelersburg, OH entitled ‘Noteworthy Studios.’ I began my Piano teaching a year later, and then my Vocal Coaching shortly after. My experience has brought my students through several Recitals, External Studies, and Songwriting. I currently have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Composition and Theory from Eastern Kentucky University. My performance studies focused on Guitar, Piano, and Voice. These studies are greatly reflected in my private lessons and allow my students to take advantage of their creativity. I have also instructed Guitar and Piano Groups during my University Studies and thereafter. I look forward to seeing the future of my students’ performance progress and their creativity being shared with the world! Thank you! -BH

“Mike Georgin is, bar none, my favorite bass player–profoundly accomplished, tasteful and versatile. And a true joy to be around.” -Niki Dakota, Music Director at WYSO Public Radio, musician and all-around incredible person
“It is always a pleasure to make music with Mike Georgin. There’s a lot of love in what Mike plays and love is contagious. He’s devoted much of his life to the bass, but that labor is always in service of the song, the bigger picture. You won’t find an easier musician to work with.” Linford Detweiler, Over the Rhine
